Paper Airplanes

 

In our class we had 3 different types of paper air planes. We did on blue, red, and yellow.

1.  QUESTION:Which paper airplane will fly the farthest                                                                                                           
2. RESEARCH: What i now about paper airplanes is limited. I have only made a few in my hole life, and they were not the best paper airplanes
3. HYPOTHESIS: I think the yellow on will go the farthest.
4. EXPERIMENT: We all got paper that was three different colors. Then we folded the three into different airplanes. Then in the hall we put tape on the ground so we could measure how far it went. We recorded how far they went and everyone had one in the class they threw them three times then got the average for each person. Then on the White Bord we wort them then found the Average for each color. Our materials are the paper, tape, tape measure, paper clips, and pencil. Independent Variables: How the air plane looked  Dependent Variables: How far the air plane went.

     5.DATA: We made a chart to record  how each air plane went.
     6. CONCLUSION: My hypothesis was wrong. The red one had the highest average and the yellow plane had the lowest average.
